Darla Tapp - Kindergarten Teacher

Testimony & Career

I had the honor of being born into a good Christian home. My parents always made sure that I was in church every time the doors were open. At the age of thirteen, I accepted Christ as my Savior. The Lord made real to me that night that I was a sinner, but also that He had paid the price to be my Savior.

From  K-3 to 12th grade, I was privileged to attend a Christian school. All I ever wanted to do growing up was to be a teacher. The Lord allowed that dream to come true in 1999 when I started teaching kindergarten. I would not trade one minute of my teaching experience. I have been teaching at Mount Pisgah since 2006.
